Wood machinist • Clay County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Clay County, Georgia. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Your main tasks: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
