Control panel electrician — Saint Landry Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a power distribution substation. Day to day you will size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays; fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
