Garment presser — Fayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Fayette County, Tennessee. You will work in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Full-time with occasional weekends.
