Production welder — Isa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Isa, Sokoto State. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence ₦10,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
