Maintenance technician — Mecklenburg County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a maintenance technician in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will be based at a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Forklift or overhead crane licence a plus You will align and balance rotating equipment such as fans and shafts; test electrical circuits, motors and control panels with a multimeter; read hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams to troubleshoot faults; inspect machine guards and safety interlocks during routine checks; calibrate sensors, gauges and control instruments; respond to emergency breakdown calls during shift. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
