Mobile crane operator — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Jefferson County, Iowa. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
