Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Mercer County, North Dakota. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run.
