Brickwork mason — Ottawa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
