Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in City of Staunton, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
