Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Nottoway County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
