Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Midland County, Texas. You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off.
