Sand plant operator wanted in Boyd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Boyd County, Nebraska. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
