Quality assurance assistant — Harford County

Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Harford County, Maryland. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
