Great opportunity: occupational health and safety officer (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Lucas County, Iowa. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
