UPVC window fitter wanted in Amherst County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors On the job you will handle: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
