Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Edgar County, Illinois. Day to day you will apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Six days a week, one day off.
