Occupational health and safety officer — Atiba

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Atiba, Oyo State. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 3+ years on the tools preferred.
