Gas metal arc welder wanted in Marion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Marion County, Alabama. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Overtime paid at a premium rate.
