Aluminium section fitter • City of Radford, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium section fitter in City of Radford, Virginia. The job is in a glazing and curtain wall company. Day-to-day duties: • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces You should have: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
