Wood machinist wanted in Machina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Machina, Yobe State. The job is on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Your main tasks: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Six days a week, one day off.
