The role involves: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
