Facilities maintenance technician — Greater London

Immediate opening: we are hiring a facilities maintenance technician in Greater London, England. The job is in a packaging and bottling plant. You will isolate and lock out machinery before starting repair work; read hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams to troubleshoot faults; inspect machine guards and safety interlocks during routine checks; calibrate sensors, gauges and control instruments; diagnose and repair breakdowns on production machinery to minimize downtime; replace worn bearings, seals, belts and couplings. You should have: • Confident reading technical and electrical drawings • Willing to work shifts and be on call for breakdowns • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
