Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. The job is at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
