We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Monmouthshire, Wales. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
