Articulated lorry driver — Brunswick County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day to day you will reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
