Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Borough of Rochdale, England. The job is in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Part-time with flexible hours.
