Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Anderson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Anderson County, South Carolina. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
