Fettler — Pleasants County

Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Pleasants County, West Virginia. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
