Urgent requirement: collision repair technician (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Inyo County, California. You will be based at an accident repair garage. Requirements: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop The role involves: • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
