Fire and safety officer — Taney County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Taney County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
