Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Twin Falls County, Idaho. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day to day you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
