Lift erector • Banner County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Banner County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy lift company. Day to day you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
