Join our team: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
