Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Nganzai, Borno State. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
