Rebar foreman wanted in Frio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Frio County, Texas. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
