Stitching operator • Grant County, Washington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in Grant County, Washington. You will work on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day to day you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
