Domestic gas engineer wanted in York County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in York County, South Carolina. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On a typical shift you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
