The role involves solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position; snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line.
