Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Churchill County, Nevada. The job is on a high-rise building project. The role involves: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Rotating shifts.
