Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Oconto County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Oconto County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
