Gas pipeline fitter • North Yorkshire, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in North Yorkshire, England. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. Your main tasks: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
