MIG/MAG welder • Gassol, Taraba State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Gassol, Taraba State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 2+ years on the tools preferred.
