Immediate opening: laundry presser (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Madison County, Iowa. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
