Bricklayer wanted in Nantucket County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The job is at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Six days a week, one day off.
