UPVC door and window fabricator wanted in Hancock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Hancock County, Maine. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Day-to-day duties: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
