Now hiring: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Clatsop County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Good attention to detail and steady hands Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches 3+ years on the tools preferred.
