Bar bender and fixer wanted in Deuel County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Deuel County, Nebraska. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Performance bonus on top of base pay.
