Vacuum press operator — Pope County

Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Pope County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
