Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Clarendon County, South Carolina. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
