Dispatch rider — Appanoose County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dispatch rider in Appanoose County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation • Handle fragile and perishable items with care while riding • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off • Weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset Ideal candidate: • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Own motorcycle or scooter in roadworthy condition, or willingness to use a company bike Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
